According to recent legislation, an EPC is now required on ALL domestic properties as part of the Home Information Pack when marketing your HOME or PROPERTY. Any property on the market before HiPs became compulsory for that property, must now also have and EPC from !st October 2008.
All RENTAL PROPERTIES must, from the 1st October 2008, already have an EPC to show to prospective tenants when the property is first advertised or on changing tenants. The EPC will be valid for 10 years and can be re-used within that period
